Bibliometric evaluations are essential for assessing the impact of T32 training programs, particularly in Cancer Biology and Computational Genomic Epidemiology of Cancer (CoGEC). This study evaluated the bibliometric outcomes of two T32 training programs by analyzing participant demographics, career trajectories, scholarly output, and research impact using SciVal and NIH grant records. Key metrics evaluated include publication trends, citation impact, collaboration patterns, and funding success. Sixty T32 scholars (30 grant recipients, 30 controls) from 2005 to 2024 were analyzed, grouped by enrollment dates. Findings identify the influence of T32s on biomedical research and career advancement. T32 alumni demonstrate strong career progression, with NIH grant acquisition predicting independent research roles. Research productivity nearly doubled over 15 years, with citation counts rising by 551%. This study underscores the importance of evaluation in refining research training models and sustaining long-term scholarly impact.
