280: What’s In It For Me? Engaging Non-evaluators in Evaluation

Participants involved with externally funded initiatives often perceive evaluation as a compliance requirement or as an activity that is completely disconnected from their day-to-day implementation. How can evaluators shift this thinking? By engaging participants meaningfully in all aspects of evaluation planning, implementation, and analysis! This poster presents how a grant-funded, statewide literacy initiative meaningfully engaged participants in evaluation to inform their own goals and efforts.
