181: Evaluation That Gets Used: Designing for Stakeholder Impact in a National TB Training Initiative
Wednesday, November 12, 2025
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM CST
This session showcases a Utilization-Focused Evaluation (UFE) of a national online TB training course and how it was designed for actionable use by diverse stakeholders. The evaluation produced three targeted deliverables: a peer-reviewed manuscript, an implementation guide for trainers, and a report for funders and public health leaders. By combining UFE, CFIR, and behavioral theory, the evaluation elevated stakeholder engagement and knowledge translation from the outset. This session highlights strategies for embedding use into every phase of evaluation—design, execution, and dissemination. Attendees will explore how tailoring deliverables, aligning with stakeholder needs, and focusing on system change can increase evaluation relevance and utility. This presentation exemplifies how evaluators can inspire meaningful stakeholder engagement, innovate utilization pathways, and ensure lasting impact through intentional, user-centered evaluation practice.
