113: Analysis of changes in review comments due to changes in evaluation policy

New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) is a Japanese funding agency that manages technology development projects in energy and industrial technology that typically last 5-10 years . For most projects, evaluation committee meetings are held every three years as well as at the project completion to obtain feedback from reviewers. To use these comments to improve project management, the Project Management Department has developed guidelines for internal use and has been providing project teams advice . this analysis was to identify changes in review comments due to the changes in evaluation policy. The analysis covered 71 projects from FY2020 to FY2022 and 27 projects from FY2023. A total of 9,070 review comments and 13,150 sentences of committee statements were collected and categorized for our analysis. In this paper, we will present the results of our analysis of effective approaches in obtaining useful review comments
