Evolving Excellence: Leveraging Standard Operating Procedures
Thursday, November 13, 2025
4:05 PM - 4:10 PM CST
Sharing leadership both internally and externally fosters a sense of community within teams and among partners, promoting growth, learning, and innovation. The Illinois Health Evaluation Collaborative (IHEC) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign enhances collaboration and sustainability by developing standard operating procedures (SOPs). These SOPs, created collaboratively by IHEC team members with various roles, are used to communicate processes, ensure understanding and reproducibility, and identify growth areas. IHEC also encourages partners to create and share their own SOPs, ensuring clear communication and innovation opportunities. Presenters will discuss the importance of shared leadership in SOP creation, how SOPs facilitate change, and lessons learned.
