Sharing Leadership in Evaluation Education: Teaching Logic Models through an AI Chatbot
Friday, November 14, 2025
2:30 PM - 2:45 PM CST
This session introduces an AI-powered chatbot designed for evaluation education and capacity building through interactive learning. Grounded in the “My Rich Uncle” game, the chatbot guides learners through logic model construction using a gamified, conversational format. Built on ChatGPT, it provides real-time, personalized feedback, allowing participants to practice and reflect on logic model concepts in a low-risk, engaging environment. The chatbot was designed by the presenter, who draws from personal experience teaching and learning evaluation both inside and outside of formal classroom settings. By decentralizing access to instruction, the chatbot supports equitable participation and shared leadership in learning. It also addresses capacity gaps beyond traditional classroom constraints. This session will showcase the chatbot, explore its application in teaching evaluation, and engage attendees in discussion about ethical and pedagogical implications. It models how GenAI can engage communities in learning and support shared leadership in building evaluation capacity across diverse learning environments.
