Friday, November 14, 2025
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM CST
Grant writing and evaluation are often seen as distinct functions, but when integrated effectively, they can significantly enhance both program development and long-term impact. This session explores how evaluators can contribute to stronger grant applications and how grant writers can incorporate evaluation into program design from the start. Using real-world examples, we will discuss: the role of evaluators in pre-award grant development; common misalignments between program design and evaluation plans—and how to fix them; and, strategies for ensuring evaluation findings inform future grant opportunities. Attendees will leave with practical insights on fostering collaboration between evaluators and grant writers to maximize funding success and program impact.
