Unifying Funders, Grantees, and Researchers in Shared Learning and Evaluation—Opportunities for Impact
Wednesday, November 12, 2025
4:20 PM - 5:20 PM CST
This panel focuses on how evaluators can equip nonprofits to take ownership of their data and drive their own learning agendas for greater impact. It draws on the experience of the Single-Headed Household Learning Collaborative—a research and practitioner partnership of six nonprofits focused on economic mobility for single-parent families. This project was funded and led by the Weinberg Foundation with support from The Adjacent Possible, a woman-owned research firm. Attendees will explore strategies that build nonprofits’ capacity to generate and use evidence that is meaningful and actionable to their unique contexts. Using the Learn, Innovate, Improve (LI2) framework, the partners co-created evidence-driven practices and conducted low-burden, quick-cycle tests for sustainable impact, informed by lived experiences of program participants.
