Collaborative Research Across Disciplines: Exploring Collaboration Between Evaluation and Market Research on a Large-Scale Initiative
Thursday, November 13, 2025
10:15 AM - 11:15 AM CST
Organizations often have several simultaneous research efforts in progress at any given time, even within a single initiative. These may include, but are not limited to market research, program evaluation, quality improvement, and scientific research. Collaboration across areas of research can bolster individual and collective efforts and offer unique and innovative approaches to traditional strategies within each research type. This Think Tank session will explore collaboration between distinct research teams at a national organization on a large-scale multi-year initiative. The facilitator will present planning and progress on current collaboration between Market Research and Evaluation at the American Heart Association (AHA) for the Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Health initiative, a four-year approach to improve diagnosis and care for people with CKM syndrome. The presenter will facilitate feedback, input, and experience and idea sharing among Think Tank participants to inform lessons learned, successes and challenges anticipated, and strategies to incorporate into collaborative research efforts.
