Relationship Building Among Collaborating Firms: Harnessing Shared Leadership to Empower Community Change
Thursday, November 13, 2025
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM CST
This panel presentation will focus on shared leadership between two firms to engage communities and co-create knowledge to drive meaningful change. We will detail the journey of two consulting firms with two separate contracts evaluating different aspects of the same large program. One firm’s evaluation focused largely on qualitative processes, whereas the other focused largely on the quantitative impact of the program. Both firms worked cooperatively, sharing information and integrating perspectives to coordinate evaluation design and data collection efforts, and not overburden participant groups. Panel discussions will address: 1) the relationship building and shared leadership between firms; 2) the firms’ communication strategies to align timelines, share information about protocols, minimize burden on participants, and engage communities; 3) shared ethical agreements; 4) how coordinating sampling procedures benefits social impact; and 5) how collaboration enables two firms to work together and support communities throughout their respective evaluations.
