The long-standing debate on logic model effectiveness typically centers on the value of the end product, with less attention on the development process. However, the benefits of a collaborative approach may surpass those of the logic model itself, including strengthened program strategy, increased team engagement, and improved knowledge of evaluation concepts. This session will demonstrate the participatory process used by the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) to develop a logic model for the Cancer Research Training and Education team. The presenter will share a high-level workshop agenda that can be implemented in either virtual or in-person environments, including interactive activities geared to an audience of non-evaluators. Participants in this session will leave with tangible and creative ideas to build evaluation capacity in their own organization. Click to fill survey.
