New modalities for engaging AI as a stakeholder at the table

Generative AI continues to be a transformative force in the field of evaluation and one way evaluators can benefit from it is by inviting it to be a “stakeholder at the table.” This session showcases how AI can be a collaborative partner rather than just a tool for efficiency, by helping to overcome language barriers, providing unique and trainable analytic perspectives, offering a wide scope of knowledge, answering questions as they emerge, and democratizing access to knowledge in real time. Through brief and concrete examples, hands-on activities, and discussion with the presenters, attendees will gain familiarity in using AI to support learning and adaptation in systemic change work. Attendees will explore how to manage (and even benefit from) the ways in which AI brings bias to the dialogue. Participants can join on their own laptops or follow along through the presenter's projected screen.
