Intergenerational Perspectives on how Evaluation must ADAPT to meet the current moment
Thursday, November 13, 2025
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM CST
This intergenerational, cross-cultural panel will share perspectives on how evaluation has been adapting in the face of the current polycrisis globally, and constitutional crisis here in the United States. We will explore lessons learned about evaluation use and influence through the lenses of developmental, culturally responsive, indigenous and intergenerational evaluation and explore the questions: How can evaluation be leveraged to confront issues of power and oppression in today’s political climate? How can evaluators model shared leadership in times of crisis and uncertainty? While we may not have all of the answers, we will trouble questions of power and leadership within the context of what is emerging. As things continue to change, we will continue to adapt and respond. This session will share experiences from evaluators across contexts and generations about how they have been adapting and what they think will be required of our field going forward.
