Racial Healing is Measurable: Perspectives from a Funder, External Evaluator, and Educator-Serving Nonprofit on Measuring the Impact of Racial Healing Programs
Friday, November 14, 2025
9:45 AM - 10:45 AM CST
Racial healing is a process that helps individuals and groups explore the truth of their collective experiences and cultivate authentically trusting relationships so they can collaborate to transform systems and create equitable communities. Without the healing of our human relationships and the building of trust, changes in policies or practices are short-lived. But how do we evaluate racial healing? A funder, an external evaluator, and a nonprofit leader will discuss the theory and practice of evaluating racial healing programs. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) will present lessons learned about evaluating racial healing after ten years of funding the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Initiative and other racial healing programs. Q-Q Research Consultants will present insights from providing technical assistance for grantee partners in racial healing. Finally, The Teaching Well will provide concrete examples of how one nonprofit is evaluating and reporting on its racial healing programs for educators. Click to fill survey.
