Amplify, Empower, Transform: The LEEAD Approach to Evaluation Leadership
Thursday, November 13, 2025
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM CST
This panel takes attendees behind the scenes of the Leaders in Equitable Evaluation and Diversity (LEEAD) Program, revealing how we are building an ecosystem of leaders across the evaluation landscape. The LEEAD model demonstrates that leadership in evaluation is not a destination, but a continuous journey of learning, adaptation, and community engagement. By developing evaluators who understand leadership as nuanced and contextual, we transform evaluation from potentially extractive into a tool for community empowerment. Panelists — including LEEAD program participants — will share how they leverage their leadership to advance culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE). Their experiences reflect a spectrum of leadership styles, mirroring LEEAD’s current focus on co-creating a LEEADership Framework that aligns with Scholars’ identities. Participants will gain time for personal reflection to explore leadership approaches that align with their own values and strengths while recognizing how diverse and shared leadership cultivates a more inclusive evaluation ecosystem.
