Ashley Coughlin is a PhD student in Educational Policy and Evaluation. Ashley has over ten years of classroom experience spanning Dual Language, Special Education, Language Acquisition, and General Education from Pre-K through 8th grade. She focuses her current work on bi/multilingual family engagement in US K-12 Schools from the perspectives of valuing cultures and lived experiences of students and caregivers. She holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction as well as a National Board Certification in English as a New Language.
