Emma Alston, MPH is Founder and Principal Consultant of Ginkgo Leaf Writing & Consulting. Emma has over 15 years of experience in public health program management, research, and evaluation. She specializes in program design, evaluation capacity-building, nonprofit management, strategic planning, public health surveillance, and mixed methods research. Her interests include violence prevention, nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, higher education and workforce development in the health sciences, and rural health. Emma received her Master of Public Health in Community and Behavioral Health at the University of Iowa, and lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with her family.
