Managing Evaluator & Communication Strategist
UBUNTU Research & Evaluation
As a Managing Evaluation Strategist at UBUNTU Research & Evaluation, I embody the intersection of Black radical thought and rigorous evaluation practices. My work centers on amplifying marginalized voices and transforming how we measure impact in communities of color.
A first-generation, double alumnus of Marquette University (B.A. '20, M.A. '21 in Corporate Communications), I've developed expertise in culturally responsive evaluation, storytelling methodologies, and community-centered research. My portfolio includes collaborations with prominent organizations like the Annie E. Casey Foundation, National Science Foundation, and Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where I've led initiatives in restorative justice, public health equity, and community asset mapping.
I specialize in:
• Participatory evaluation design
• Human impact storytelling
• Asset-based community development
• Dignity-centered facilitation
• Black feminist research methodologies
As an emerging thought leader in evaluation, I regularly present at national conferences and facilitate workshops on transformative justice, cultural responsiveness, and innovative evaluation methods. My approach integrates traditional evaluation frameworks with Afrofuturist perspectives, creating new pathways for measuring community impact.
I'm passionate about breaking generational barriers and creating spaces where Black excellence can thrive. Through my work, I demonstrate to Black youth that they have the power to write their own narratives and create lasting change in their communities.
"I am because we are" - This African philosophy of Ubuntu guides my professional practice and personal mission to build a more equitable evaluation landscape.
Open to collaborations in:
• Culturally responsive evaluation
• Community-based participatory research
